Out and about in Donegal was Sean Carty of Carty’s Land and Sea Sports. He updates us on fishing at Bunduff Salmon Fishery during the week:
On the Bunduff Salmon fishery , the week started off well with a few good fish caught but as the week progressed and water levels dropped the fishing got quieter . Wednesday was by far the best day with a few fish reported , Sean Carty from Land and Sea Sports had a nice fish of 8.5lb from the sandy hole on a mc gowen variant fly after catching one on the fly in Ballisadare earlier that morning.
Johnathon Ciconte from Eniskillen had a 7.75lb fish at Mc Morrows bend on a flying c spinner and by far the catch of the week was a beautiful 9.5lb specimen Seatrout caught on the Seapool by Darren Ciconte on a flying c . Thursday saw one fish caught at the falls on a prawn and on Friday there was 2 fish caught , both were grilse about 4lb .
