25/05/2013: My noble fly fishers had a hard day of it because of the lack of wind and because of this some anglers headed for the high stool, while others stuck at it and come 3.30 pm the wind came from the SE light and it wasn’t long before renowned Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at [email protected] caught a fine Sea Trout on the drift. In the Salmon department Mr. Arthur White of the UK caught a fine Grilse on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley. Wind as already stated, overcast with light misty rain on and off all day.

26/05/2013: All the Sea Trout head lines go to Mr. Marcel Guillou of the UK, who caught a fine 4lbs Sea Trout on the drift, while fishing with his Gillie  Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan of www.vincentsfishing.com Wind SW fresh to strong and overcast.

27/05/2013: Mr.Arthur White of the UK fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley caught a 4.5 lbs Grilse on the troll.
All quiet on the SW front and with a cold NW blowing with heavy showers throughout the day, its not surprising my Noble Game fish were in a lethargic mood, or putting it in plain English, my noble anglers failed miserably in their duties.

28/5/13 All quiet on all fronts, be it fly or troll. Wind NW fresh, and just for the record it made a small flood last night, amount of rainfall in the 24 hours 8.3mm.

That is your ration for this week, from your Gillie and the Waterville Fishery, no spin no fly’s just facts.
