07/01 No more salmon have been reported since opening day. Two fish were lost, one in the Mill Pool on Thursday on spinner and one from Lennox’s on Sunday on fly. The water level had been dropping slowly but has risen again following persistent and sometimes heavy rain since Saturday afternoon. The water level is currently at 0.85 metres but is likely to rise slightly overnight. The weather outlook is for colder, drier conditions until a further band of rain crosses the country on Thursday.
