Water levels on the Flesk were pretty good a couple of weeks ago but had started to drop away by the start of last week. By the weekend the levels had gone to low following the hot weather.
The grilse that had been in the river were scarce again but there were still some salmon caught the best of these was reported to weigh 9lb.
There were no catches reported from the Laune or Killarney Lakes.
