Sean Carty of Carty’s Land and Sea Sports in Bundoran reports:

There were a few reports of fish from Lough Melvin this week especially from the Rossinver fishery area . On Sunday there were two Salmon reported caught off Wards Point , John Parkinson had a nice fish of 10lb weight and Niall Sweeny had a fish of 7 lb . On Saturday Robbie Haire had a nice fish of 9lb 8oz while trolling a Green and gold toby off the Rooskey shore . Other recent catches were Jim Connolly having a 4lb 8oz fish by the blue barrel off Rooskey on the fly ,and a 3lb 4oz fish off the hatchery shore on the fly.
