Mc Maus had a 9lbs fish on Rapala from the Crooked Hole, C. Gardiner had a 4.5lbs fish on flying c from the Soft Hole and released another estimated at 4 to 5lbs, J. Laffin had a 9lbs fish on a Bann Special from the Cascades, M. Hobson had a 4lbs fish from the Mill Pool on Prawn and N. Campbell had a 6lbs fish on Cascade also from the Mill Pool, on Saturday N. Campbell had a 9.5lbs fish on Cascade from the Blackwater and today Sunday, N. Abrahams had a 5lbs fish on worm from the Blackhole, M. Mc Iver had a 4lbs fish on worm from the Mill Pool and T. Parker released a fish estimated at 5lbs from the Island Pool on spinner.
The water level has risen to 0.65 metres amid heavy showers. The forecast for the week ahead is for further spells of heavy rain, strong winds and unseasonably low temperatures. Water conditions are currently at a good spring level but much more of a rise in levels would see fish running hard to the lake.
