Richie Ryan, Saltwater fly fishing Guide, was out fishing deep water again on the fly with good friend Dr Jacques Bronkhorst during the week. They decided to fish some marks both outside and inside Cork Harbour (30+ feet). The guide reports that at every random mark they had pollack on the fly.

On the way back Richie and Jacques drifted on a very strong tide over Harbour Rock where Richie hooked the fine pollack shown above.  In addition Jacques caught a cod on a fly, the first ever reported on fly to this website.
