Paddy Keogh and some angling pals were out on Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow last night. The conditions looked good for a tope with a rising tide, a misty dull sky and the pressure dropping. Unfortunately there were no runs from the tope. The group also  fished flappers and pulley rigs on other rods to see what else was about. This tactics saved the night and they were kept busy as the rod tips were nodding constantly with dogs and a few small bass. Best fish of the night was a nice to 3lb 5oz schoolie caught by Paddy.
