All going well some cracking trout will be caught next Friday night on Lene. Lough Lene Angling Association will host the Larry Mulligan Cup. This fly-fishing competition will be fished from 7pm-11-15pm, with presentation at Fagan’s Point. It’s the first evening competition, and a good turn out of club members is expected. I did a few nights on the lake last week, and it hard going, but hopefully it will improve as we see more fly life on the Lake.
