The Junior League continued on Saturday evening June 8th at Oaklands Fishery in New Ross with all the kids catching loads of fish. Thomas Quinlin continued his great run with a top weight of 32.500kg in just 3 hours. They all did very well with most catching their best match weights to date. It was a beautiful evening with great fishing all over the lake. The draw was at 4pm and fishing was from 5pm to 8pm Thomas Quinlin with the biggest of his 32kg haul.
Nicky Crokirn took part in the 2nd leg of the League. He had a nice mixed bag of carp skimmers and rudd. They had weights of up to 29kg for the 3 hour match. The lake is fishing great in general with the margins producing big weights of carp tench and bream. John Browne with a big mirror carp Damien Kennedy with a lovely 7lb carp.
