The fourth round of the Erne Anglers Float Only league took place on Sunday with an excellent turnout of 31 anglers in calm and Sunny conditions.
A very heavy overnight frost slowed sport however overall plenty of small Roach were still landed on Pole tactics.
The third round was fished on the Roslea Lake of Inver, Lyons, Gavin’s, Drumacritten and Killyfole, with the top three anglers again coming from three different lakes.
In first place was Ewan Weed (Omagh) 5.000Kgs on Inver peg 16, Ewan’s catch was taken mainly on the pole.
Runner up was League leader Paul Eyres (Enniskillen) 4.000Kgs on Drumacritten peg 5, Paul again fished the Pole for some better quality fish.
In third place was Simon Huthwaite (Enniskillen) 3.550Kgs on Killyfole peg6, Simon’s catch included 2 good Skimmers again taken on the Pole.
Other section winners were Lyndon Read (Lisnaskea) 2.440Kgs on Lyons, and John Potters (Lisbellaw) 3.120kgs on Gavin’s.
Round five of the league will be fished on the same venues in two weeks time.
