Great news for anglers who regularly fish the Newry Canal. Newry & Mourne District Council have agreed to look at a proposal for further remedial works to enhance the bank space at the Albert Basin. The move comes following a recent meeting between the National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland and senior council officials.
