The NCFFI All-Ireland will run this year for the 54th time and will once again be held in the Killeshandra area and co-hosted by long term NCFFI member, Killeshandra Angling Club. Inland Fisheries will once again provide valuable on the ground support for this premier match angling event.

Lee Symonds, John Potters Current Cup Holder, Winner NCFFI All Ireland 2013, Ian Kelsey, Emma McMahon – Winner 2013 – Ladies Section

The All-Ireland has a long and fascinating history and has been hosted on some notable venues such as Lough Muckno, Lough Gowna and the Lough Oughter complex among others. More recently it was run on the river Barrow in county Carlow and at one stage paid a visit to the Grand Canal in Co. Kildare.

As a coarse angling match it is Ireland’s longest running and most prestigious event where anglers can use any method including feeder, pole and waggler. Some interesting catches in recent years have included the use of the whip (or pole to hand).

The list of winners includes some of Ireland’s premier coarse anglers but the seasoned match anglers are not always the winners! With expected numbers in excess of 100, there will be plenty of section prizes on offer for all anglers to aim for if they miss out on the big prize!

The All-Ireland will take place on Sunday 27th July and is open to all anglers and includes a separate Ladies event. Be sure to enter the 2014 event to get yourself on the All-Ireland winners list!
