Angling guide Tom Cogan from Carrickmacross reports that he had 3 gents from Russia out early this morning in the Carrickmacross area. It was a bit cooler than in recent days with a cold light breeze and water levels had dropped further. Tom says that fishing was slow but we still managed to get a few jacks on spoons and lures and the lads were delighted with their day out. Tom says that the group were great craic which added to the enjoyment of the day by all.
