Shane Gallagher from the Drowes Salmon Fishery reports:

The winter storms returned over the weekend bringing high winds, heavy rain and hail which has risen the water level to 0.9 metres and rising this evening. Saturday was a cold, windy day with heavy hailstone showers. Joe Broderick had an 8lbs fish on rapala from the Crooked Hole and there were reports of another fish lost from the Upper Mill. The forecast is a mixed bag for the rest of the week with rain, hail and sleet and colder weather forecast. The water level is likely to remain high for the coming weekend.
