As of Closing Day Tuesday 30th September water level now down to about 2 inches on the gauge at Johnston’s, probably a record low for September. The gauge at the Laune Bridge is at .63 M.
Fish were extremely scarce for the past week apart from news of lost fish by Michel Bertrand and Billy Downes managed to land a lovely hen of about 5 lbs on Monday evening on a Stoat’s tail.
I see that there is going to be some good rain over weekend, wouldn’t you know it!!!
