Lindsey Clarke reports  from LOUGH MELVIN – Monday 28th to Sunday 3rd August 2014.

Melvin remained fairly quiet this week and in truth there were not many rods out. Trout anglers reported some sport with sonaghan but most fish were small. We are still praying for rain to raise the lough significantly and freshen things up. August is normally a decent month for trout fishing and things should pick up hopefully.
