The big news on the Donegal bay angling front this week has to be the blue Shark fishing . On Thursday the Kiwi Girl smashed all records in the bay managing to land no less than 20 sharks . The following day just to prove it wasn’t just a one off ,skipper Declan Kilgannon took the Kiwi Girl back out to the shark grounds and landed 11 more . Of the 31 Shark that were landed over the 2 days 19 were specimens of over 100lb with the biggest coming in at 165lb . This is sports fishing at its best on our doorstep .
If anyone would like to get out there and give it a go now is the time . Both the Bundoran Star and the Kiwi Girl are planning several Shark trips over the next few weeks .
