Mark Gannon of Courtmacsherry angling tried the wrecks on Tuesday and landed some nice ling from 6 to 12lbs, then he went sharking where he lost one with a broken line and landed one . Wednesday saw good pollack fishing in the bay but the congers were quiet.
The quality and size of the bass on Wednesday evening was not to be sneezed at and most anglers were well pleased. Thursday again saw some excellent bass, congers and ling.
