Tomasz Ekert reports in his blog Sea Bass Hunting that he started the new bass season as early as possible on the 16th of June. This dynamo angler hit the water as the clocks tolled midnight to announce the end of the bass closed season and the start of the open season.
Tomasz fished a mix of soft plastics in bright moonlight, but it was nearly 2am before he had his first fish to hand, a very welcome bar of silver that was duly photographed and safely returned. The fish measured 63cm. The next was a small one and he finished his night (early morning?) with a 59cm fish.
