Mark Gannon of Courtmacsherry angling has a good number of species accounted for this week so far and a super skate, he reports:

Courtmacsherry Estuary, inshore and offshore are all producing some great fishing at the moment.  Shark fishing with fish to 2.20m, 7 and 3 lost in 4 hrs fishing yesterday, Ling to 18lbs from the inshore wrecks.  With pollack, ling, conger, ray, cod, coalfish, bull husks and dogs, the group from Belgium fishing on the Lady Louise are up to 19 species so far this week.

Courtmacsherry - July (2)Highlight for the Lady Patricia was a common skate of 180 lbs landed yesterday, and the bass fishing in the estuary has been terrific with live bait the best method followed by peeler crab and the lures are catching a few but tough going.
