Bags packed and destination Rosscarbery, West Cork.  The bread was also packed, not for the picnic but for the fish…. and boy did it work !  These two friends hooked some fine specimen thick lipped mullet.

Gavin Moran and Rob McClean enjoyed their 2 days in Roscarberry over the Bank Holiday weekend, specifically targeting specimen Thick Lipped Mullet. Their efforts were well rewarded and both Anglers had specimen fish, 5.2lbs, 5.9lbs and 5.10lbs. A great weekends fishing. The fish on the IFI mat is 5.2lbs’s and and Gavin Moran is also pictured, with his 5.10lb specimen caught on 4lb fluro, a size 8 hook and Irish Pride bread!
