Mary Bennett of Nurney Lakes, Nurney, County Kildare contacted us with some great news from the fishery over the weekend.
Fishing has been very good but everyone was surprised at the 15lb Rainbow caught last week by Adam and Pat Conlon, who are regular visitors to the fly lake.
With the good fishing there has been plenty of sport for all, including the group of young anglers from Athy who were chasing their own monster trout at the fishery under the guidance of John Shaughnessy.
