26 different species recorded by Dutch and Belgium anglers fishing at Courtmacsherry inclucing our 'Catch of the Week'.

Charter skipper and guesthouse owner Mark Gannon reports from Courtmacsherry on deep sea fishing for his clients fishing on his two charter boats.

A group from Belgium and Holland Allard, Kevin, Ronald, Peter and Nicky recorded 26 different species on their fishing holiday including a Specimen Ling of 32 lbs. for Nickywho wins our Catch of the Week and a new species for the Lady Louise a spotted ray, The tally included, mackerel ,pollack, cod, whiting, haddock, conger, ling, bull Huss, dogfish, pouting, poor cod, ballan wrasse, cuckoo wrasse, launce, weaver ,spotted ray, Thornbacks ray, dab, blue shark, bass, rocking, pilchard, turbot, grey gurnard and red gurnard.

Fishing the last few days with a mix of Dutch,Irish and French anglers,we landed Blue Shark to 2 metres, good conger and ling with pollack  to 10 lb.

Today the wind was fresh from the west so we fished near the western shore,where we landed Thornbacks Ray, Spotted Ray, Dab, grey gurnard, red gurnard and on the Lady Patricia they also landed some good plaice.  In the Estuary the Bass fishing on live bait was very good with fish landed to 8.2 lbs.
