A proposal to build a 50-lodge fishing village at Brittas Lake – at a cost of €10m – has been submitted to South Dublin County Council.
It is understood the initiative would create over 50 jobs and the proposal also includes plans for the construction of a “clubhouse” for the sale and rent of fishing equipment.
It is also proposed that a cafe and restaurant would be constructed as part of an overall tourist amenity, to cater for related activities such as golf, walking, and adventure pursuit…
