Naas and District Anglers was formed in 2012 with the intention of angler development both junior and senior. Through friendly club matches and leagues based on fun and with low cost entries, the improvement in our less experienced anglers over the last year or so has been impressive to say the least.

N.A.D.A. Intermediate Pairs on the 12th of April

With the development of anglers in mind we hosted our first Naas and District Anglers Intermediate teams match in 2014 on Lough Muckno. Last years match was a great success and we are making it an annual event.

To add to this we are also running the N.A.D.A. Intermediate Pairs on the 12th of April right after the Easter Festival.

By “Intermediate Angler” we mean the average angler that rarely features in the frame on open matches and has never fished at top level angling. We left it to anglers themselves to decide if they fell into the category and it worked quite well. We hope that anglers respect the ethos of the event again this year and only enter if they believe they are an intermediate angler.
