Galway Bay Sea Angling Club is now taking membership for 2016. Seniors €50 and Juniors €5. Beginners welcome as are lady anglers. The club has had a great year with outings countrywide, great catches and diversity in the species hunt and anglers achiving competitive success at provincial, national and international level. The club also won the inaugaral National Shore Club Championships.
Currently Tim O’Sullivan leads the IFSA species hunt with an amazing 58 species. He added a black bream for October/November period, a rare catch from the shore.

Mike Curtin represented Ireland at the World Club Championships in South Africa and Home Nations.
Club members Fiona McDonagh, Conor McDermott and Brian Reidy represented Connacht at the interprovincials.
