The Fergus Salmon Anglers Association fished a pike competition in the East Clare lakes at the weekend. Darren McInerney, a new member in the club had the biggest fish of the day a fine fish of 22lb. In the end there were just three pike caught that day at competition – another good pike of around 15lb and also a jack pike.
