LAUNE SALMON AND TROUT ANGLERS’ ASSOCIATION WATERS AND BEAT 3

Angling Report 20th April (Email to Laune Angling Report)

Laune Salmon and Trout Anglers’ Association waters and Beat 3.

As of Monday 20th April Laune now at a beautiful 2 feet on the gauge at Johnston’s

Conditions perfect – the only problem still no news of salmon being met or caught in Laune Anglers Waters.

There was a reasonable angling effort over the weekend and the tides were high but no pulls reported.

In these lovely conditions it is still well worth a try, it has to happen soon.

Prospects: I think I said this time last year that 2014 would have to be better than 2013 it the same this time, surely 2015 can’t be as bad as 2014.

Permits for Laune Anglers waters from now to the end of July only €25 per day.

Beat 3:           Perfect water on Beat 3 but angling effort still low to non-existent.
