Paul Whelan reports from Fort William on the Munster Blackwater:
Tough conditions on Monday but still managing to land a few beauties like the one that Tim Brown landed on the Abbey pool on the Glenmore beat.
The fish was estimated to be about 9lbs was released safely. Tim was guided by our guide Brian Hennessy.

Blackwater Lodge
Blackwater Lodge reported the second best fish of the season landed on Monday. The total for September up to Tuesday 29th was 119 & 487 for the season to date, with one day left to fish.
Prospects.
The river conditions remain absolutely perfect & fish are coming on the take gradually. Tides are just past their peak & will be 4.1m tomorrow. Prospects of sport for the last day should be good.
Ballyduff Bridge Salmon Fishery
A couple of Seatrout released last week at Ballincurrig and 2 salmon of about 7lbs caught and released Sept 24th on a red Francis at Ballyduff Bridge Fishery by the Glynn party guided by Connie.
