Slightly better salmon fishing in the Killarney Lakes area including the River Flesk

Eileen Carroll Murphy from the Inland Fisheries Ireland Office in Macroom reports from many salmon fisheries in the Cork Kerry area

 FOR WEEK ENDED SUNDAY 22ND OF MARCH 2015

 KILLARNEY LAKES AND LOUGH LEANE

12/13 salmon landed by local anglers for the week ranging from 8 to 11 lb.

KILLARNEY FLESK

6 salmon landed for the week weighing from  7 to 9 lb.

There was no salmon catch reports from the RIVER LEE ESB FISHERY, RIVER BANDON ,  RIVER ILEN , COOMHOLA RIVER and the OUVANE RIVER and on the RIVER LAUNE BEATS 1 and 2
