Visiting angler Fr John Murphy from Portmarnock had some good days trout fishing with Guide Kenny Sloan.
The mountain loughs in the Foxford area were fished in mild, breezy,and overcast conditions. Dapping the Mayfly and fishing wets like Claret Bumble, Bibio, Black Pennell were the best methods.
Two day’s fishing accounted for nearly 40 trout to the boat for John, who had his new Rory’s fly rod well tested out.
