In addition Liam and Sheila advise that September 6th 2015 will see the first annual Davy Gordon Memorial Cup match to be held on Lough Muckno.
It is a 4 man team event that will see a new twist on how a team match is ran, with four sections being used, three of the sections will be a designated method section, in other words, there will be a feeder only, pole only and waggler only section. The fourth section will be an any method section where the anglers has a choice of what method they can use but they can only use one method on the day, so they must choose wisely.
Provisionally the following sections will be used
Yellow Island will be the Pole only section
Black Island will be the Feeder only section
Concra Wood will be the Waggler only section
White Island will be the section where the angler picks one method.
Liam and Sheila also ask that any club member wishing to fish this event please advise us asap – we provisionally have 5 teams booked in, so please contact us with your team/team name.
Liam can be contacted on 086 3052004
