Kevin Murphy this past weekend braved the frosty morning to fish a lake in Clare. When he arrived he was greeted by a thin layer of ice at his chosen launch spot. Not to be deterred, he geared up and got on the water. He had a couple of small jacks while trolling a lure.
He then moved on further to another part of the lake to try some more. He got another couple on a trolled lure. All in all a great day to be out. Weather was flat calm and the local wildlife was all the company a man could want.
