Pierre Montjarret was in a hurry to register his first 1m plus pike of the year. Conditions meant he had to wait until 02 January to make his mark, but make it he did. Pierre had his first big Pike of 2016. It certainly was not a bad one at 106cm and 12,5 kg. Pierre tells us his fish fell for a bandit crankbait in blue chrome.

Pierre was back on the water on Tuesday (05 January). Conditions were pleasant enough, all things considered. Pierre was fishing with Tommy Buggy and although they had no monsters in the boat there were a few nice fish played and landed. The biggest of the day wre 100cm and  92cm.
