Members of the Kilinarden Angling Initiative successfully completed an Introduction to Angling course. Topics included angling regulations, angling equipment, knots and safety, landing and unhooking fish, float and feeder fishing and bait/tackle choice.
The certificates were presented by Oisin Cahill of the Dublin Angling Initiative and this is just one program that the two initiatives work together on.
The final days fishing took place on Tuesday the 7th of June at the Laois Angling Center with plenty of fish caught with the welcome assistance of the good weather.
