Ben from Holland is all smiles with his first Pike of his trip

Ben from Holland was over for his annual fishing trip to Melview Fishing Lodge in Longford, the fishing started a little slow but soon picked up as the week went on. Kevin said that both lures and dead baits produced a number of pike to double figures for Ben but a lot of smaller males seemed to be taking the baits before anything bigger could get a look in, nether the less Ben enjoyed his trip once again and we hope to see him again next year.

Next time we report on Piet from Holland who was one of a group of four staying at Melview Lodge for their weeks fishing holiday, a great weeks holiday which produced lots of pike along with some nice doubles. Full report next time after I receive pictures.
