08/02/2016 As anglers hit the high stool, storm Imogen hits Waterville. So you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know there was no fishing today and as you can see by the photos taken by Mr. Jonathan Walsh of Waterville the Sea front got a hammering, now its operation clean up Waterville.
09/02/2016 The Spanish Armada may have left the safe Haven of Irish Waters after the departure of Storm Imogen and headed out to the Wild Atlantic Way, well I can tell you without any fear of contradiction that the Wild Atlantic Salmon are alive safe and well in Lough Currane and for the simple reason my Noble Anglers failed miserably in all departments. Wind North light and overcast with hale showers.
10/02/2016 All the head lines goes to Local Angler and proprietor of the Crescent Bed and Breakfast Waterville, Mr Robert Elson and for good reason, he caught a fine 10 lbs. Salmon on the troll while fishing with his good friend and local Gillie Mr. Brod O’Sullivan of Waterville. For the rest of the angling community they failed to produce a Wild Atlantic Salmon for themselves, they just caught the odd Kelt. Wind NW light with bright sunshine.
