Moy Catchment angling report. Week ending 05/05/2024
Water levels at Ballylahan showing only slight variation this week from 0.55 on Monday 29th rising to 0.77 on Wednesday and dropping back down to 0.5 on Sunday 5th.
Ballina Salmon Anglers
A total of four salmon were reported caught in Ballina Salmon Anglers waters this week, all on the worm.
Coolcronan Fishery
One very good salmon reportedly over 10 lbs was reported caught on a Flying C and safely released back to the water.
The Foxford Fishery
Granville Nesbitt reports the first fish of the season caught on the Foxford Fishery. The fish weighed approximately 10 lbs and was caught by Dessie George from Northern Ireland.
East Mayo Anglers
Kathleen reports of a good week on East Mayo Anglers waters with a total of twelve salmon being caught on fly, worm and spinner. Seven were taken and five released with weights from 6 lbs to 15 lbs.
