Jason Nash from the Bandon Angling Association reports on the catches and conditions on the River Bandon…

No more rain in sight as the Bandon is once again down to a trickle. Plenty of salmon were caught last week as the small flood quickly receded and the colour faded. A good mix of stale and fresh fish were met, mostly grilse and smaller summer salmon. Fresh fish are still entering the system at the moment and there is always a chance of hooking up, especially in this dull, windy weather.

Details of the guiding service are provided on the website and they are looking forward to making memories and enhancing people’s fishing experiences on the river Bandon.
