Union Hall
Tom Collins from Sea Angling Charters in Union Hall had a great weekend in which they caught loads of pollack as well a few other regular species like wrasse, coalies, cod etc.
An irregular and in fact never caught before was a sea trout which went for a set of jigged feathers!
Adrain Nowotynski also enjoyed the calm weekend weather. He reports great pollack fishing on Sunday but did not do so well with the other species. They got a nice few mackerel in the morning but despite the fresh bait ground fishing proved quiet.
Courtmacsherry
Over at Courtmacsherry Mark Gannon tells us the was also out on Sunday after re-launching his boat at weekend. There were some nice pollack and coalfish going and everyone on-board enjoyed getting back on the water.
