Loughanure Anglers have gave a great welcome to the Irish Ladies Fly-Fishing Association who visited Annagry, in Co Donegal last Saturday 8th October.
The ladies had a brilliant days fishing. Loughanure Anglers looked after them well with lovely food before and after. All they had to do was fish. 16 anglers caught 70 beautiful wild brown trout.
The ILFFA thanked PJ Walsh for all the arrangements and the club boatmen for boating them. They also extended their gratitude to the Dundalk Anglers and Mark Dermott who boated for them.
No doubt but it wont be long until they are back again at Loughanure.
Best boatman was Hubert Smith with 23 fish. Top angler Julie Gerry with 12 fish for 314 cms. Well done to all.
