The third leg of the Carty’s Land & Sea Sports Shore League took place on Sunday 20th November on the beautiful Rossnowlagh Beach, in South Donegal. Conditions were clear and bright with a touch of frost in the air.
Thanks to everyone who came and took part and well done to Gerry MC Brearty on winning overall and getting the longest flat which was a fine flounder of 42 cm and to Shane Rochford on coming 2nd. Species caught were flounder, turbot, seatrout, coalies and whiting. In total 67 undersized fish were also caught in the competition.

Don’t forget that there are still two legs of our league left to go, on December 11th at Fintra Beach, and December 27th on Rossnowlagh beach.
