Alice Murtach in our Corlesmore office in Cavan tells us Kieran Lee was on to let her know that French anglers Remi Dulac and Stephane Starck are enjoying some fantastic pike fishing in Cavan.
The pair are on their annual pike fishing pilgrimage to Lough Gowna, basing themselves in Fitzpatricks Tavern guest house.
They came to Lough Gowna on 17th October and within a few days caught some mid to high doubles 96 cm and 94cm. Their best fish an 111 cm pike weighing just shy of 11 kilos
