Billy Downes reports from the Laune…
22 April: Richard Lubrant from Atlanta USA was fly fishing the Laune with Billy Cotter yesterday. Richard guides on his local river in Atlanta, the Chattahoochee. He managed to land several brownies and a lovely sea trout of 18 inches.
23 April: River is on the low side – some salmon seen – but only sea trout landed. Kevin Walker had a nice sea trout of over a pound on a salmon fly later this evening. Bernard Doyle a visiting angler from UK had some fun with small brown trout. Earlier in the day more sea trout were landed.

Be sure to display your permit on the dash of your car with the date and permit number visible and have the other part with you because you will be asked by members to identify yourself as a legitimate ‘One Day Member’ / Permit Holder.
