Trout angling on Lough Arrow is still a little on the slow side as the Peter fishing has not started yet. However, some of the anglers who ventured out and put enough time into it were rewarded with nice catches. Amongst the few were Martyn Elliott and his friend from the UK who fished out of Hargadon’s Boat Hire. The pair had 16 good trout (all returned) over 5 days heaviest at 3.5 lbs.
