26 May: A top week for the festival anglers at the HACKETT CUP. Fantastic fishing with some bream pegs in the mix and a brilliant weight from Trevor Platt wins him the festival. Well done to second place Peter Jones and in 3rd England Youth International Rory Jones.

27 May: O’Callaghans Bar & Guest House Open was fished on Saturday, 26 May. The venue was the Greenway. Winner Paul Hallen 13.720kg , second was Dave Carter with 12.580kg and third was Andrew Cranston with 10.800kg.
28 May: 34 anglers fished day one of the 2017 O’CALLAGHANS CUP sponsored by O’Callaghans Bar & Guest House.
All the top weights came from section B of the Greenway opposite Rowing Ireland HQ and known locally as Turtle Bay. Section A is also on the Greenway and section C is Graveyard.
Top weights of today are;
1st John Bird 13.480kg
2nd Trevor Lovell 12.760kg
3rd Steve Thorpe 11.030kg

29 May: Day Two of the O’Callaghan’s cup and Bradley Gibbons wins the day with 16.500kg of skimmers on the tip on the Greenway. In second place was John Bradshaw with 12.020kg and 3rd was Dave Carter 10.400kg.
Stuart Blunsom is top of the leader board with 17.360kg after his 10.320kg catch on the Greenway, Turtles Bay with Trevor Lovall and Bradley Gibbons second and third overall.

Stu Blunsom wins the Cup and his first Irish Festival win

30 May: A consistent performance from Stu Blunsom secures him the Cup and his first Irish Festival win!
His top weight from C section today kept Stuart at the top of the leaderboard with a total weight of 24.140kg for the three days. In second place is Jimmy Crossley with 21.200kg and third Paul Pritchard 20.700kg. Paul Pritchard came from 15th position to 3rd today with his 11.160kg catch on the Greenway, Turtle Bay B Section.
