Billy Thornton reports on the first few weeks of the Moy estuary sea trout season…
While the Sea trout season on the Moy Estuary opened on the 17th April conditions were not very favourable until last week with Judd Ruane on Pegasus reporting some very good catches. Neil Barnett & 3 friend from Scotland had 11 sea trout, Bernard Pelle & 3 friends from France had 12 sea trout, Andre de Luca & 2 friends from Brazil had 16 over two days and Jon McDonagh-Dumler from the USA had 3 sea trout.
