David McEvoy reports from the Delphi Fishery where Geordy Yendall is back in the spotlight again…

19 February: George Yendall certainly is having a stay to remember at Delphi this February, as he landed his third fish of the trip today. While he may have only landed one, it was indeed a beauty. The fish was once again taken in the Rock Pool and weighed in at a cracking 11lbs 4ozs. It was taken on a Cascade tube, with the water running at 55.

Water temperature was again up on last week at 6.7 degrees C. At this point in time Geordy can do no wrong and if he continues in this vein of form, his fishing companions will become increasingly frustrated, even though Philip McGarrity graciously netted the fish this time! Well done again Geordy.

Water levels are now perfect and tapering down, so I would be very hopeful of more action in the next few days. I also saw fish entering the system at the bottom of the river this morning, so fingers crossed!!
