3/9/19 Where do we start today’s Sea Trout action ? Where do you think and yes you have it, where else but the North Shore and at the Bungalow. UK Currane Fly Anglers, Judge David Burton and Mr. Bill Shackleton from Yorkshire and their Guide, Mr. Tom O’Shea of  www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com were in good form again in the Sea Trout fly department and for good reason, they caught  4 Sea Trout, 1 in the Junior class, 2 in the 2 lbs class and finished their day off with a Sea Trout in the 4 lbs class. Wind SW and overcast all day followed with misty rain. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16 . 4 c.

4/9/19 Lough Currane fly Anglers had to deal with a strong and cold gusty NW wind and followed by heavy showers, but this didn’t deter UK Currane Fly Angler Mr. Arnold Slater, Fishing out of the Bungalow and guided by Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com catching 4 Sea Trout on the drift, for the rest of the Waterville and Currane angling news it was all quiet on all fronts. Today’s weather as already stated. Yesterday’s weather, maximum air temperature 17.0 c.

5/9/19 Again the Bungalow takes all the Salmon and Sea Trout headlines so straight to catch of the day and that goes to UK Currane fly Angler, Mr. Arnold Slater, while fly-fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught 3 Sea trout and finished their day of with a fine Salmon and just for the record My Noble Salmon was put pack to fight the battle of the spawning grounds of the Commeragh, so on that ticket of freedom we stay at the Bungalow and the Sea Trout fly department and again UK Currane fly anglers, Judge David Burton and Mr. Bill Shackleton and their Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com were in good form with their fly rods  again today with a total of 6 Sea Trout, 3 Juniors 2 in the 2 lbs class and their Sea trout of the day was in the 3 lbs class and was by caught by David. Wind NW with good cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 15.9c.

6/9/19 Straight to the Bungalow and we head out with UK Currane fly Angler, Judge David Burton and his Guide Mr. Tom O’Shea of  www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com  and for good reason, David caught 5 Sea Trout ranging from Juniors up to 2 lbs. Wind NW light with reasonable cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.7 c.

7/9/19 UK Currane fly Angler Judge David Burton fishing out of the Bungalow and Guided by Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught one Junior on the drift. Wind NE and veered NW and bright sunshine all day and that’s all the angling news on this day, humidity 85% Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.7c.

8/9/19 We head out from the Bungalow and finish at lunch time at the Bungalow and for good reason, so take it away UK Currane fly Angler Judge David Burton and in the words of his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com and I quote,  Finished at lunchtime today with Judge David Burton, 2 Sea Trout on the drift best 1.5lbs. Total catch for ten days was 45 Sea Trout all caught on the drift. Breakdown 36 Juniors, 7 in the 2lbs class, 1 in the 3lbs class & 1 in the 4lbs class. For the rest of the Currane Anglers it was all quiet on all fronts. Wind  today light and variable. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.5 c.

9/9/19 Lough Currane was all quiet on all fronts. Wind NW fresh to strong with showers. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 16.3 c.
